Information You Provide
We collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Account information. If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive information Apple provides for authentication, such as your Apple account identifier for Luxe Studio, and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. If you use Apple's private relay, we may receive and use that relay email address.
- Profile settings. You may choose to add or edit account profile details, such as a display name, public social profile handles, profile URLs, or avatar preferences.
- Social profile information. If you choose to add a public Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube handle or profile URL, we may use that information to retrieve public profile information, such as a public avatar, display name, or profile URL. You can remove social profile handles in the app.
- Notification and email choices. If you choose product updates, email updates, or push notifications, we process your preferences, confirmation status, and related settings.
- Support and contact messages. If you contact us or submit the website support form, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, and related support context.
Information Collected Automatically
We collect some information automatically to operate the app, website, and backend services:
- Guest and install identifiers. The app may create local guest, install, or device identifiers so features can work before you sign in.
- Account and session data. If you sign in, we process account IDs, session records, refresh tokens, authentication state, and security metadata needed to maintain and protect your account.
- Device and app metadata. We may process app version, build number, device model, operating system version, locale, language setting, time zone, push authorization status, and similar operational metadata.
- Network and service metadata. When the app or website communicates with our services, we and our hosting and security providers may process standard network metadata such as request time, route, IP address, user agent, response status, and security logs.
- Subscription and entitlement data. Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive information needed to provide and manage your subscription entitlement, such as product identifiers, entitlement status, StoreKit environment, storefront country or region, subscription status, purchase result categories, offer identifiers, payment modes, and redemption signals.
- Product analytics. Product analytics sharing is on by default unless you turn it off in the app. When enabled, we use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand app usage, feature quality, reliability, and product performance. We use safeguards intended to strip emails, tokens, transaction IDs, filenames, and unsafe free-form text from analytics payloads.
- Diagnostics. We may collect crash reports, diagnostic events, and reliability information to debug issues, keep the app stable, and protect the service. Diagnostics are treated as operational reliability data.
- Website data. Our public website may process normal server logs, hosting and security metadata, and support form submissions. We use website visitor data for operation, support, security, and reliability.
Photos, Camera, Microphone, And On-Device Processing
Luxe Studio is a local-first creative app:
- Photos. The app imports media that you select through Apple photo picker or permission flows. We do not scan your entire photo library. If you choose to export or save media, the app may write the result back to your photo library using the permissions you grant.
- Camera and microphone. Camera features use your device camera when you choose to capture media. Microphone access is used when you choose to record video with audio.
- On-device creative processing. Filters, masks, face or body effects, skin segmentation, censoring, text overlays, layout rendering, thumbnails, and exports are processed on device by default.
- No editing upload. We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers for editing, rendering, or posting.
Notifications And Email
If you enable push notifications, we may store a push token, device information, notification authorization status, notification preferences, locale, time zone, app version, device model, operating system version, and last-seen timestamps so we can send and manage notifications.
If you request email updates, we may store your email preference, confirmation status, confirmation records, locale, source, consent text version, and unsubscribe or opt-out status. Some email update flows require you to confirm your email address before updates are sent.
You can change push and email preferences in the app. You can also use unsubscribe links in email updates where provided.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple handles payment cards, billing, refunds, cancellation, renewal, free trials, introductory offers, offer codes, and App Store subscription management. Luxe does not collect your payment card number, billing address, or shipping address for App Store subscriptions.
We process subscription and entitlement information from Apple so we can unlock paid features, restore purchases, honor offers, prevent abuse, provide support, and keep records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

- Provide local editing features and app functionality.
- Create and maintain optional accounts.
- Authenticate users, maintain sessions, and protect account security.
- Deliver subscriptions, entitlements, remote configuration, downloadable assets, notifications, and email updates.
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Improve product quality, reliability, and app performance.

How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information in the following ways:
- Service providers. We use service providers that help with hosting, security, account infrastructure, analytics, diagnostics, email delivery, push notifications, customer support, asset delivery, remote configuration, and related operations.
- Apple. We exchange information with Apple as needed for Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, StoreKit, refunds, cancellation, subscription management, private relay, and platform operations.
- Social platforms. If you provide a public social handle or profile URL, we may use that information with the relevant public social platform to retrieve public profile information for optional profile features.
- Legal, safety, and security. We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; protect rights, privacy, safety, or security; investigate abuse; or enforce our agreements.

- Does not scan your entire photo library.

Your Choices
You have several controls:
- Edit without an account. You can use core editing features without signing in.
- Analytics. Product analytics sharing is on by default, and you can turn it off in the app's privacy settings. Turning it off stops optional product analytics from the app after the setting is changed. Operational diagnostics may still be processed for reliability, security, support, and legal purposes.
- Push notifications. You can manage push permissions in iOS Settings and manage notification preferences in the app where available.
- Email updates. You can manage email update preferences in the app and unsubscribe from email updates where an unsubscribe link is provided.
- Social profiles. You can remove public social handles from your account in the app.
- Sign out. You can sign out of your Luxe account in the app.
- Account deletion. You can delete your Luxe account from the Account page in the app. Deleting your Luxe account removes account data, linked social profiles, notification preferences, device records, and active sessions according to our deletion process, while preserving limited records we need for subscription, fraud-prevention, accounting, security, legal, or opt-out purposes. Projects stored locally on your device remain on that device unless you delete them or uninstall the app. Deleting your Luxe account does not cancel an Apple subscription; use the subscription button at the bottom of the Account page to open Apple's subscription management.
You may also contact [email protected] for privacy requests. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
- Local projects and media remain on your device until you delete them, delete the app, or your device removes them.
- Account and session data are kept while your account is active and as needed for security, fraud prevention, support, legal, or operational purposes.
- When you delete your Luxe account, we revoke sessions and remove or anonymize account identity data, social profile data, notification preferences, email preferences, device records, and push tokens unless limited retention is needed for legal, security, subscription, accounting, fraud-prevention, or opt-out purposes.
- Device and push records are kept while needed for notifications, app operation, security, or support.
- Subscription and entitlement records may be kept as needed for app functionality, restore flows, accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal obligations.
- Analytics and diagnostics are retained according to operational need and provider settings.
- Email preference or suppression records may be retained so we can honor opt-outs.
- Support messages are kept as needed to respond to you, improve support, and maintain business records.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected] so we can review and take appropriate action.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including platform authentication, session controls, secure transport, access controls, and privacy safeguards for analytics. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
